It has been very very cold in New York area, days of single digit temperature with strong wind. Putting a wig itself is not a comfortable thing, but adding an extra knit cap to bundle me up makes wig tighten up with extra pressure. When I take off the cap also makes wig look messy, too.

It was exactly a month after my reconstruction surgery that I had an appointment at the reconstruction surgeon's office. I don't have any more arm movements restrictions after a month of not be able to lift them no higher than my shoulders. I am set free!

Wrapping Style in Winter 冬のターバンスタイル
I did not realize how hair keeps my head so warm. After all those years with long hair I had, I feel cold in head this winter with newly growing very short hair. This wrapping style became my favorite for this season. It is warm, gives fullness and playful asymmetry design. I also like this pin (find it, it is at my forehead) I put in the front on the wrap, too. A part of it hangs down from the turban and it sways. It adds a little charm to the style. Because of the volume, my style does not speak out that I face hairless with cancer.

My husband and I attended a sweet 16 birthday party in this holiday season. It was a formal black-tie dress code affair in theme of white and black. It was my very first time attending a sweet 16 birthday party. The birthday girl came out in a beautiful long red dress.
