Fun Tuesday teaching style today.

How do I answer when people asks me how I dye my hair that blue?

Answer 1: Ah, it’s a wig. (reveal the truth.)

Answer 2: Ah, you like it?  (answer off the topic.)

Answer 3: It took me awhile to do it right. (pretend it is my real hair.)

In an elevator is the place where people brings this question up.  Strangely, it only happens in an elevator, but it did many times.  Can you think of any cool answer to that?  Help me!　Please! I want to have a witty answer to it.

[Day 21 after reconstruction surgery] I told my brand new set of students about my health situation, how I did last semester and how it is now.  I have a really good start with the class.  Students were very active sharing ideas, doing question activities, and engaging with me by laughing out loud.

本日の　楽しい火曜日の授業スタイル。

「どうやってそんなに青く染めるの？」という質問に　いかに　上手に返事をするか。

返事１：「あ　これは　ウィッグよ」　（真実を伝える。）

返事２：「あら、どう？このスタイル好き？」（質問を少しずらして答えない。）

返事３：「なかなか　ここまで染めるのには　時間がかかるんだよ」（本物の髪の毛だとして　話をする。）

なぜかわからないけれど、この質問は、エレベーター内でおこる。すでに　３～４回同じ質問をされている。必ずエレベーター内でしか　聞かれない。さて、どんな切り返しをすると　面白い　とか　やるなっ　という返事になる？助けて～、みんなからの　回答　断然募集。どうしても　いい返事を用意して置きたい（すごい本気で悩んでる。まあ　小さいことと言えば小さいことなんだけれど、大事なことなの。お願い　一緒に考えて！）。

[再建手術から２１日目]　新しい火曜日クラスだったので、再び私の先学期の話と、今の健康状態の話をしておく。なかなかよいスタートだ。生徒のエネルギーがいっぱい感じられる。自分たちが考えたアイディアをクラスで　発言をたくさんしてくれるし、問題を真剣に解いてくれる。一緒にクラスで　どっと笑ってくれる（これが英語でできるまでに　どんだけ悩んで、何年かかったやら。。。）。私のエネルギーについてきてくれている。その感覚はすごく大事。このまま　やるぞ。
