"TPO": Time, Place and Occasion. This is a made up acronym by the Japanese society and a widely used term today in Japan. It is used as TPO, as is in alphabets, in the Japanese language. That means people has to dress and behave according to a "TPO". It is used as "She was not considering the TPO for today's meeting." All went well my 10th targeted therapy (for HER2 treatments of Herceptin and Parjeta) today. Since yesterday, I was drinking a lot of liquid to prepare for a smooth IV insertion. It went very smooth. I learned from the 6 times chemotherapy, a nurse needed to find a new vein each time to give extra break to the previously used vein. Because of the strong chemistry in the medicines, it can burn out the veins. I can only use my right arm, that added extra limitation. From my left arm, some lymph nodes have been removed and I cannot use that side for vital nor treatments.
