Day19: Teaching Monday with Full Energy

I am sure I had a great energy for teaching today. Our discussions were interesting and I could tell that we had a good lecture today. I say it is “we,” even if I am the one who is “lecturing.” When a lass has great interaction between me and my students, it creates a higher level of discussions and understanding of the material. I am a leader/navigator in the class. A great day.

I had a doctors appointment today. OOPS, I put weight at this cycle. I am probably the heaviest during this past year. I could taste better for the last 5 days, after I did not have a chance to recover from the strange taste at the last cycle, finally after the 5 weeks, I wanted to eat and eat a lot. One of the doctors was actually happy seeing me putting weight. It meant I was good enough to eat. The doctor’s appointment went well and I will have my chemotherapy as scheduled for this Wednesday, October 8.

今日の授業は 教室がとてもエネルギーにあふれていたし、私もエネルギッシュな授業が出来た。ディスカッションは盛り上がった。生徒からのコメントもたくさんあると、そこから新たなディスカッションは生まれるし、理解も深まるから より授業が面白くなる。一緒に授業を創っている感じがしている。私は底での授業のナビゲーターでありリーダーである感じだ。いい日だった。

水曜日が抗がん剤治療の日なので、お医者さんに会いに行く。おっとぉ！今回は体重が増えに増えた。ここ1年で最高記録。（いや、3年ぐらいで最高。）何よりも、この5日間、食欲が止まらない。前回の抗がん剤治療は ずっと味覚がおかしくなってしまっていたので、合計5週間ぐらい味覚がおかしかったから、味覚が戻ってきたら 食欲のすごいこと。一人のお医者さんは、体重が増えたのを見て喜んでくれた。抗がん剤治療に体重が減ってしまうと、体力もなくなるし、吐き気が多くて食べられなかったのかと思うから と。順調なので、予定通り、水曜日に抗がん剤治療。

今日のオレンジのウィッグは 大人気だった。
