10th Targeted Therapy Day 10回目分子標的治療の日

All went well my 10th targeted therapy (for HER2 treatments of Herceptin and Parjeta) today. Since yesterday, I was drinking a lot of liquid to prepare for a smooth IV insertion. It went very smooth. I learned from the 6 times chemotherapy, a nurse needed to find a new vein each time to give extra break to the previously used vein. Because of the strong chemistry in the medicines, it can burn out the veins. I can only use my right arm, that added extra limitation. From my left arm, some lymph nodes have been removed and I cannot use that side for vital nor treatments.

9th Targeted Therapy Day 9回目分子標的治療

Tomorrow, Tuesday, will be my 9th targeted therapy day: treatments for HER2 -Herceptin and Perjeta. Wish me luck for an easy IV insertion again. One after another treatments... (Look how much hair came out so far! The picture is from a week before my surgery.)
