I could not handle well of seeing the scar sites on my breasts last night. I was almost fainting and called my husband to take me to bed. -nothing happened to the surgery sites, it was all psychological, just wanted to let you know in advance.- The picture is from our window about a week ago. I did not modify the color, it was a beautiful sunset.

I did not realize how hair keeps my head so warm. After all those years with long hair I had, I feel cold in head this winter with newly growing very short hair. This wrapping style became my favorite for this season. It is warm, gives fullness and playful asymmetry design. I also like this pin (find it, it is at my forehead) I put in the front on the wrap, too. A part of it hangs down from the turban and it sways. It adds a little charm to the style. Because of the volume, my style does not speak out that I face hairless with cancer.

Tuesday, January 13, at 9:30 AM (EST or -New York-), I will undergo an operation for my breast reconstruction. (Despite the title, it may be today for you.) I am requesting all of your prayers for me from all over the world. Thank you in advance, I will receive general anesthesia and will be sleeping well then. At this point, I am just waiting anxiously for tomorrow. It will be hard to sleep, but I should sleep well. Nobody knows how well I can sleep after the surgery. No drink, no food, not even swallowing accidentally while brushing my teeth after midnight.

31 days after chemotherapy. Especially since I discovered my breast cancer, I put more effort to dress well to see doctors. It may sound odd to some of you, but it is very important. I had a doctor's appointment today and the picture is how I went to see my doctor.

Day 27 after my last chemotherapy. I checked myself in for echocardiogram. Target therapy of Herceptin and Perjeta, some patients develop heart problems with them. According to a nurse I spoke to when I had the treatment a week ago, if any heart issue came up with the treatments, it should be temporary. Soon after the therapy is over, the issue will go away. My heart will be monitored every a couple of months.
