13 days after the last chemotherapy. I had a meeting with my reconstruction surgeon. It has been almost 4 to 5 months since I had seen him last time. I made an appointment when my oncologist told me it was time to meet with him.

Day 5 after my 6th chemotherapy. I was not sure if I could commute with public transportation today as I felt so sick yesterday. My legs have tingling sensation and are very weak. My parents drove me to the closest station, which only takes 2 minutes ride. A train to the NYC, and taxi to my office. The same routine on the way back, too. I minimized my walking distance so to make sure that I will have enough energy until tomorrow's teaching.

Day 3 after my 6th chemotherapy. I felt nauseous and needed to stay in bed. My son has been practicing for a middle school's musical, he participates as a member of chorus group. His three shows were on this weekend. He asked me to come because he really wanted me to see it (or him). I had to think about it. I was not sure how I would be. Finally, I decided to come to see it.

Day 20 after 5th chemotherapy. I started to drink a lot of liquid. Tomorrow is my 6th chemotherapy, that is going to be my last one. I have a mixed feeling of partially looking forward to it as knowing that this is the last one, but partially thinking that I will have to do all over this cycle again as usual, which is not a pleasant experience at all.

A Japanese friend sent me a set of three pairs of socks when she learned my breast cancer. The three pairs are different in material; silk, cotton and wool. I am supposed to wear them at once in the order of: silk to be direct on food, cotton and then wool to be the last.
